Grimsby Beach Karate Classes
Classes run year round, from September through August, for $175. Classes are held Monday, 6:00 pm-7:00 pm.
Interested parties can enjoy a free trial class and join at any time. Pro-rated fees will apply after January.
Classes for both beginners and more experienced students run simultaneously with different instructors working with separate groups or new students.
White belts and yellow stripe.(program runs along side the yellow and up classes)
While this program is for children ages 6 and up(exceptions may be granted at a younger age upon approval from instructor) with no previous karate experience. Our one hour class offers the right balance of physical and mental focus for the new, and younger students. Karate is a self defense sport that uses blocks, kicks and strikes. Respect, honor and discipline are important in Martial Arts and emphasized in all classes. Students should wear comfortable long pants and a long sleeved shirt. Students can obtain a yellow stripe for basics but must memorize first Kata in order to move to advanced class.
Parents are encouraged to participate with their families, however, while in the dojo(classroom) parents are asked respect club rules and re-frame from managing their child's progress.
