Who we are.
The Grimsby Beach Karate is a longstanding, community-based club, with over 50 years in the community. Grimsby Beach Karate is an affiliate of both Grimsby Beach Wado Kai Karate and
Great Lakes Shotokan Karate.
We are a "not for profit" organization, offering affordable, quality classes for students ages 6 and up
Students are taught with a focus on discipline, respect and confidence while in a safe family-friendly environment.
All our instructors are volunteers and come from a variety of different martial arts styles with many years' of experience teaching martial arts, practical self-defence and para Karate.
Sensei Brian Chmay - of the Grimsby Beach Wado Kai Karate Club our chief instructor was one of the original students of the founder of the Shintani Wado Kai Karate Federation.
